NB:
- Social services role is not to take away your child but to provide extra support and ensure that they are safe
- mention confidentiality (as long as others are not in harm)
- “do you ever feel afraid of your partner?”
- “have you ever been subject to violence at home?”
- “violence in the home is as illegal as violence on the streets”
